Jose Mourinho is looking into the distance. Smirking perhaps. Did you know that many folks wore fake moles made of velvet, silk, or mouse skin in the 18th century as a fashion statement? We're sorry if you were expecting a discussion regarding Manchester United's match against Southampton on Wednesday.

We just thought that everyone had as little interest in the Premier League as Jose Mourinho. The Manchester United manager has made it pretty obvious that he has lost interest in the domestic competition and the Europa League is his and his side's primary objective.

Honestly, he just doesn't care anymore.

He even suggested that he might play some of his fringe players for this game. We can hardly blame him either; United's recent form has seen them drop out of contention for a top-four place. More specifically, losses in their last two league games, along with two draws in the games before that, have shown them to be a team not up for the fight in the domestic competition.

Southampton's own form has been far for from stellar, with their only win in the last six games coming against lowly Middlesbrough. Still, we reckon that they may have enough to defeat a Manchester United team full of players short on game time this season.

Thus, the 13/8 price on offer for The Saints to win looks like an absolute steal. United are certain to have one eye on their Europa League final against Ajax, which takes place on May 24. However, if you think their clout as the traditionally more successful club, you can back them to win at a price of 9/5.

Even when United have played their full strength team, they have struggled to breakdown teams this season. The Red Devils have been drawing games for fun and haven't looked massively confident at any stage. If you think they'll hit another stalemate, you can back the draw at a price of 23/10.

Also, did you know that it's illegal to own just one guinea pig in Switzerland because they get lonely? Sorry, we'd thought we'd share another interesting fact with you because this dead rubber is sure to completely lack any excitement or interest.

In fact, we're so sure of it, we're backing the scoreless draw. It is priced at 9/1, which looks like an absolute steal. Expect Mourinho's post-match interview where he blames everybody but himself to be several times more interesting than the game itself.
