Two of the world's most popular football clubs, Real Madrid and Man City, will be squaring off in a friendly on Friday evening in Australia as part of the International Champions Cup.

Both teams are looking to round into form before the start of league play in August. Man City opened their pre-season with a win against Roma, while Real Madrid lost their opening game of the preseason after losing to Roma in penalties.

This match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 1 in the United Kingdom and on Fox Sports 1 in the United States.


Real Madrid is the favourite to win this match according to the oddsmakers:

Man City, 3.60

According to these odds, Real Madrid has a 51.28% chance of winning, while Man City has a 27.78% chance of winning.


Many of the world's top players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, are expected to play at least some minutes on Friday night.

In addition, Raheem Sterling, who recently made the move over to Man City, is also expected to get some playing time on Friday. Raheem Sterling made a strong first impression on Man City fans when he scored in the team's opening International Champions Cup game against Roma.
