France 4/9 To Lift the Trophy on Sunday

Published on July 9th, 2016 2:50 pm EST

France is the clear betting favourite to lift the Euro 2016 trophy on Sunday, as major bookmakers currently have them at 4/9 to win.

Portugal will look to continue their improbable run on Sunday as they clash with France. Portugal has been underwhelming so far in this tournament, though they have still managed to find their way into the finals. Cristiano Ronaldo has admittedly been a bit off in this tournament, so it will be interesting to see if he brings his best game to Sunday's clash against France.

France, on the other hand, has looked extremely impressive, beating Iceland easily and then following this up with a 2-0 victory over Germany. France is operating at a very high level and there is no reason to think that they won't be able to top Portugal on Sunday, despite Portugal having one of the very best players in the world on their team.

Here are the full time result odds for this contest:

Portugal, 7/2
Draw, 21/10
France, 11/10

Here are the odds to lift the trophy:

Portugal, 15/8
France, 4/9

Oddsmakers are expecting a low scoring contest, as evidenced by these odds:

Over 2.5 Goals, 8/5
Under 2.5 Goals, 19/40
