Carl Frampton a 1/25 Favourite To Defeat Gutierrez on July 29th

On July 29th, 2017, Carl Frampton and Andres Gutierrez will be battling at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In the eyes of the bookmakers, this fight is about as big of a mismatch as they come, as Frampton is currently a 1/25 favourite to win.

This is not particularly surprising given that Frampton is currently the world's #2 ranked Featherweight fighter and will be fighting in front of his home fans in Belfast.

Frampton will enter this fight with a nearly flawless record of 23-1-0, with his lone blemish coming via a Majority Decision loss to Leo Santa Cruz in January of 2017.

Andres "Jaguarcito" Gutierrez, on the other hand, is significantly down the Featherweight ranking ladder, as he is currently #23 in the rankings. Gutierrez is entering his tilt against Frampton with a record of 35-1-1, with his last fight resulting in a TKO win against Wallington Orobio.

Frampton has faced a much higher caliber of opponent than Gutierrez has, however, and is the clear favourite to win this fight.
