The second leg of the Spanish Super Cup, which will pit Barcelona against Athletic Bilbao, is set to take place later today. The event, which takes place once per year, pits the winner of La Liga against the winner of the Copa del Rey. Since Barcelona won both the La Liga and Copa titles last season, Athletic Bilbao, which finished runner-up in the Copa del Rey, got the spot against Barcelona.

Barcelona will have a great deal of work to do on Monday, as they lost the first leg to Athletic Bilbao 4-0 last week. Aritz Aduriz put on an offensive display, notching a hat-trick against a helpless Barcelona defense. You will have to forgive Barcelona for seemingly not caring about the game, however, as they are looking ahead to making a successful defense of both their La Liga and Champions League titles.

Barcelona, which will be playing at home on Monday, are the clear favourites to win the second leg. Here are the current betting odds for the match:

Barcelona, 1.14
Draw, 7.50
Athletic Bilbao, 17.00

Sure, Barcelona are the clear favourites to win on Monday, but can they lift the trophy? Here are the odds for that to take place:

Barcelona, 4.50
Athletic Bilbao, 1.17

Can Barcelona overcome a four goal deficit in a contest that they really don't care that much about? That is the question. Overcoming such a deficit will require a herculean effort, which seems unlikely for Barcelona to muster, considering the fact that the La Liga campaign is days away from getting started.

A total of five Barcelona players have better than even money odds of scoring on Monday - they are:

Lionel Messi, 1.40
Luis Suarez, 1.57
Pedro, 1.70
Munir, 1.80
Sandro Ramirez, 1.80

This is the last appetizer before La Liga gets underway next weekend.
