Kyler Murray receiving one of many career awards. Kyler Murray attended a high school with a really strong football program (Allen High School in Allen, Texas) and made them unbeatable.

Literally unbeatable.

During Kyler's time as the starter for Allen, the team went 42-0 and won three straight state football championships.

In football mad Texas, home to many great high school football teams, Kyler and Allen High School NEVER lost a game.

In 2014, while playing as a senior, Murray won the Gatorade Football Player of the Year.

In addition, he'd win Mr. Texas Football twice and finish as a five-star recruit.

Let's take a look at Kyler's high school numbers:

2012

153-249, 2,004 yards
17 TDs, 5 INTs
1,370 Rushing yards
25 Rushing TDs

2013

207-325, 3669 yards
46 TDs, 9 INTs
1,274 rushing yards
19 rushing TDs

2014

278-433, 4713 yards
54 TDs, 8 INTs
1,495 rushing yards
25 rushing TDs

Kyler gave opposing defenses absolute fits.

When his arm significantly improved in his junior and senior years, the opposing teams had no chance.

In his senior year in high school, Murray accounted for almost 70 touchdowns.

It's no wonder that Allen High School won three straight titles, and it's no wonder that Kyler was one of the most sought-after recruits out of high school.

Kyler was an unstoppable dual-threat QB that turned opposing defenses into pretzels.

The attention that opposing defenses had to put on Kyler's legs opened up the rest of the field, and he certainly took advantage.

The three straight state championships that Kyler played in weren't even close:

2012 - 35-21 defeated Houston Lamar
2013 - 63-28 defeated Pearland High School
2014 - 47-16 defeated Cypress Ranch High School

-

As if all of that weren't enough, Kyler Murray was also a highly touted baseball prospect as well.
