Bayern Munich and Barcelona Favourites to Win the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League According to the Odds

The new football season is almost here and in a few weeks time we will know who all of the participants are in the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League group stage. We are still waiting for ten teams to qualify and join the twenty two teams that have already secured their spot in the competition.

The UEFA Champions League winner odds have already been posted on the major sites. Let's take a look at the favourites:

Last year's winners, Bayern Munich, and the Spanish Champions, Barcelona, are the favourites to win. A $100 bet on either of the two teams could return $350 in profit, if successful. Next in line is Real Madrid, followed by three teams from the English Premier League: Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd.

It should be a very interesting football season. Most big teams have strengthened their squads over the summer and we can expect some epic battles.

How will Bayern perform under Pep Guardiola, who is making big changes? How will Barcelona do with the Neymar - Messi duo up front? What about Real Madrid? PSG are a stronger side this year with the addition of Edison Cavani. Chelsea FC are doing well in the pre-season friendlies. What about the Italian teams?
