First of all, the Real Madrid legend, Iker Casillas is no longer with the club after his transfer to Porto. Los Blancos also have a new coach in Rafa Benitez who replaced Carlo Ancelotti. Barcelona are under a transfer ban until January 2016 so their new signing, Arda Turan, will not be able to play until then. Barcelona FC are also having elections in a few days, which could change things at Camp Nou as presidential candidates often promise new signings as part of their campaign efforts. Atletico Madrid have sold Mario Mandzukic to Juventus and replaced him with Jackson Martinez from Porto.

The first El Clasico will take place on November 8th at Santiago Bernabeu and the opposite fixture will take place on March 31st.

Barcelona are the favourites to win the domestic league again with betting odds currently at 4/6, followed by Real Madrid at 7/5 and Atletico Madrid at 20/1.

The top goalscorer odds are:

So, will it be another two horse race in Spain this season or do teams like Atletico, Sevilla and Valencia have a chance to challenge for the top spot?

It will be interesting to see how things play out!
