This is just the beginning. Bigger deals are in the works and by the time this transfer season is over (end of August) this list could look completely different. For example, the tenth largest transfer of last summer, Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea to Everton, fetched £31m. The largest deal of last season was of course Luis Suarez's transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona for £71m.
