Juventus Big Favourites to Win 2015/16 Serie A

Serie A logo - 2015/16 season - ItalyWith Juventus in the midst of a major summer reshuffle, let's take a look at the pre-season odds for winning the 2015/16 Italian Serie A.

The four time in a row domestic league champions and last season's UEFA Champions League finalists, Juve, are still the clear favourites to win the Italian league despite all the changes the team is going through.

Here are the current odds to win the scudetto:

Juventus: 8/13
Roma: 7/1
Napoli: 9/1
AC Milan: 10/1
Inter: 12/1
Lazio: 16/1

The 'Old Lady' has already lost three of their best players this summer. Carlos Tevez has moved back to Argentina to play for his boyhood club Boca Juniors, Andrea Pirlo has moved to the MLS for one last paycheque and Arturo Vidal has officially joined Bayern Munich just a few short days ago.

The team manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has brought in the German midfielder Sami Khedira and the Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic so far this summer in an attempt to fill the void. The team will heavily count on the French superstar Paul Pogba and the ex. Real Madrid player Alvaro Morata to get results this coming season. This is if Pogba even stays at the club past this summer. Alvaro Morata could be gone next year also, as Real have an affordable buy-back clause for the player. The team captain Gianluigi Buffon is already 37 years of age and the Juve fans will hope that he can still play at his best in the upcoming season.

Inter Milan are another club going through major changes this summer in an attempt to qualify for Champions League football. The team has fallen behind in the last few years, but things are shaping up nicely since Roberto Mancini took over at the club again. New faces at Inter Milan for the new season are: Miranda (Atletico Madrid), Martin Montoya (Barcelona) and Geoffrey Kondogbia (Monaco).

It will be interesting to see how things play out in Serie A this season.

The first round of matches will be played on August 22, 2015.

Updates: Stevan Jovetic from Manchester City is having a medical at Inter.
