FIFA Announces Eight Nations to be Seeded at the World Cup 2014 Draw

After the October 2013 World Cup Rankings were announced earlier today, FIFA has made official the eight nations that will be seeded in the 2014 World Cup finals draw that is to take place in December of this year.

Here are the eight nations that will be headlining the groups at the World Cup:

Brazil (host nation)
Spain
Germany
Argentina
Colombia
Belgium
Uruguay
Switzerland

Uruguay is still under a question mark as they have not secured their spot in the World Cup as of yet. Uruguay will have to do battle against Jordan in the intercontinental playoffs first. If they fail to qualify, Netherlands are next in line.

It is awesome to see Belgium and Switzerland as seeded nations in the World Cup.
