The 2014 Summer Transfer Window Specials

The biggest name being mentioned these days is Diego Costa, who will likely be unloaded by Atletico Madrid at the end of the season. Edinson Cavani's future at PSG is also in question and so is Toni Kroos's at Bayern Munich.
Some of the other big name transfers filling the headlines are Cesc Fabregas's move away from Barcelona and Luis Suarez's move away from Liverpool. Even Mario Balotelli is in the mix.

The teams likely to splash cash this summer are Manchester United, who are revamping their squad after a dismal season, Liverpool, who have extra funds to spend after qualifying for the Champions League, and Chelsea FC, who are looking for a world class striker.
Barcelona FC are another side that might spend big this summer, as the club prepares for the pending FIFA transfer ban, currently on hold.
The football world might get a break from the new-money big spenders, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, who have recently been handed a penalty by UEFA, for not complying with the Financial Fair Play rules.
It will be interesting to see how things play out!
