Definition of Half Time Result



What does the term "half time result" mean in the world of football betting? What is meant by "half time result"?

When it comes to football betting, "half time result" means that you are betting on which team will be winning at halftime.

There are usually three choices - Team A, Draw/Tie, Team B.

The "half time result" line looks like this:

Man City, 2.00
Draw, 2.40
Real Madrid, 6.00

So, if you think that Man City is going to get off to a strong start, you'd want to take them at 2.00 to be ahead at the half.

If you think that Real Madrid, despite being away, is going to get off to a strong start against Manchester City, you'd want to take them at 6.00 to be leading at the half.

If you think that the game is likely to be a draw at halftime, you'd obviously want to take "draw" at 2.40.
