How to Bet on the 2019 Punchestown Gold Cup
This year's edition of the Punchestown Gold Cup will take place on May 1st.

The event is a Grade 1 National Hunt steeplechase that is open to horses five years or older. The race is run at Punchestown on a track that is just under 5 kilometres.
This is a fairly prestigious event, as many of the horses that run in the Punchestown Cup have just run in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, so the level of competition is quite high.
Punchestown is a right-handed, turf course.
The total prize pool in 2018 was €275,000, with €162,250 going to the eventual winner.

2015 - Don Cossack
2016 - Carlingford Lough
2017 - Sizing John
2018 - Bellshill
Willie Mullins is a name to watch, as he has trained four horses to victory since 1999.
