Sports Nicknames - The Sniper

Wesley Sneijder was one of the best midfielders of his generation.



Sneijder is the most capped Dutch player with 134 appearances. He also represented the colours of Ajax, Real Madrid, Inter and Galatasaray.

Wesley was able to provide a perfect pass for his teammates and score goals from far far away. With both feet equally well. He was a specialist for dead-ball situations and therefore earned the nickname "The Sniper".
