Muller has played in Bavaria for all of his career, starting at the Bayern Munich youth system in 2000 and making his debut by 2008. From 2009 onwards, Muller became a staple of the Bayern side, regardless of who was managing. Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes, Pep Guardiola and Hans-Dieter Flick. He helped Bayern win all but 2 of the last 11 Bundesliga titles, as well as 2 Champions League titles. 6 DFB-Pokals sit in his list of awards as well, not to mention a glorious 2014 World Cup victory with Germany.

Muller's nickname of the "Raumdeuter" describes how he plays. He is not a traditional winger, but a player who seeks out space across the front line. He redefined what a winger could do. With this unique playing style and finding of space, Muller has managed to score 254 goals and set up 213 assists with Bayern Munich in 659 appearances.

Thomas Muller has done something more than simply play well for Germany and Bayern Munich. He performed at the top level for more than a decade, making a position playing style so unique that it got a new name.
