Thomas Muller is unarguably one of the best German attacking players to ever play the game. Competent of playing anywhere in the opposition half, Muller has been scoring and assisting goals for more than a decade. He has become known as the "Raumdeuter", or "Space Investigator."

Muller has played in Bavaria for all of his career, starting at the Bayern Munich youth system in 2000 and making his debut by 2008. From 2009 onwards, Muller became a staple of the Bayern side, regardless of who was managing. Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes, Pep Guardiola and Hans-Dieter Flick. He helped Bayern win 12 Bundesliga titles, as well as 2 Champions League titles. With the German national team he won the 2014 World Cup.

Muller's nickname of the "Raumdeuter" describes how he plays. He is not a traditional winger, but a player who seeks out space across the front line. He redefined what a winger could do. With this unique playing style and finding of space, Muller has managed to score 254 goals and set up 213 assists with Bayern Munich in 659 appearances.

Thomas Muller has done something more than simply play well for Germany and Bayern Munich. He performed at the top level for more than a decade, making a position playing style so unique that it got a new name. Toss in all the honours he has won and goals that he has contributed to and you have one of the greatest players Germany has ever produced.
