Aguero started in the youth system of Independiente in Argentina before moving to Atletico at 18. He was eased into the starting eleven, rather than being cast directly into the spotlight. This prepared him for the next 4 years, where he took the spot of the departed Fernando Torres. He embraced the challenge, scoring 101 goals in 234 appearances across all competitions for Atletico.

It was in 2011 that Aguero would make his move to Manchester. Wearing the childhood nickname "Kun" on the back of his shirt next to his name, he would play a crucial part in City's first title win. The last minute goal against Queen's Park Ranger is one of the most viewed goals of all time, with the Etihad Stadium erupting.

Aguero's success would not end there. He would help City win 3 more Premier League titles, an FA Cup and 5 League Cups. This, in addition to his Europa League win with Atletico, make up his trophy cabinet. He also has a World Cup and 2 Copa America silver medals in there as well.

With an astonishing 257 goals in 383 appearances across all competitions for City, Aguero has gone down as an absolute legend in sky blue. Even his injury struck 2020-21 season cannot dampen his absurd goals to game ratio. One of the greatest strikers to play in the Premier League, Aguero has written his name in the legend books.
