Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was a legendary Bayern Munich and Germany national team player, who was the two-time winner of the Best European Footballer award.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was an amazing forward. He was strong, had pace, could dribble and shoot with both feet. He was very fast. He could run 100 meters in under 11 seconds. Typically, Rummenigge would win the ball in midfield, then race to the box, dribble past 2-3 opposing players and hit the net with a precise shot.

Nicknamed "Kalle", Rummenigge came to Bayern Munich as an 18-year-old in 1974 and joined a star-studded lineup of players. He won two European Cups with the club as well as several other domestic trophies. In 1980 and 1981 he won the prestigious Ballon d'Or award.

With the German national team Rummenigge won the 1980 European Championship and made it to two World Cup finals in 1982 and 1986.

It is safe to say that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is one of the most popular German footballers in history.
