Andriy Shevchenko was one of the best strikers at the beginning of the 2000s and officially the best player in 2004 when he won the Ballon d'Or.

Widely known as "Sheva", the Ukrainian was considered as one of the most lethal strikers to play the game.

Playing for Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan and Chelsea, "Sheva" scored 67 goals in all European competitions, which ranks him seventh all-time.

He is the second-best goal-scorer in the history of AC Milan with 175 goals and the all-time top scorer for Ukraine with 48 goals.

Shevchenko has won multiple titles with the clubs he played for. The most prestigious one is the UEFA Champions League title with AC Milan in 2003.

On the international scene, "Sheva" made 111 appearances for Ukraine, who he lead to its first World Cup appearance in 2006.

In 2016, Shevchenko started his coaching career as an assistant of the Ukraine national team and soon after he became the head coach.
