Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva is rumored to be announced later tnis week, with the fight set to headline a Showtime PPV on October 29th.

Jake Paul has not had much luck with opponents as of late, as both the Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr. fights ended up falling apart.

With KSI recently pulling off a massive event, Jake Paul wanted to fight someone with some significant name appeal, and he looks to have it in Anderson "The Spider" Silva.

Silva is a legend in the MMA world, and is one of the best fighters of all time.

Anderson Silva is 3-1-0 lifetime as a professional boxer, though he has won both of his professional fights since retiring from mixed martial arts.

Silva's most impressive victory came against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who he defeated via split decision in June of 2021.

Silva is 47 years of age, though he still possesses crisp striking and great footwork. Silva would definitely be a challenge for the 5-0 Jake Paul, who has victories over the likes of Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren and Nate Robinson.

Odds will become available once the fight is officially announced, though sources in Las Vegas are making Anderson Silva roughly a -185 favorite if the fight is announced.

Jake Paul, on the other hand, would be somewhere in the neighborhood of a +160 underdog.

Jake Paul and his promotional team referenced this in a Tweet, stating that he would likely be the underdog against his next opponent.

Anderson Silva is a great choice as a next opponent, as he has plenty of experience, is still a very tough challenge and doesn't have a history of backing out of fights.

Silva would also likely walk away with one of the biggest paydays of his career, as well as having the chance to take out the "Problem Child".

This fight will draw heavily from the mixed martial arts world, which makes it a great event to put together.
