The Champions Mile is a Group 1 flat horse race that takes place at the Sha Tin Racecourse in Hong Kong every year.

The race was first run in 2001 as the Hong Kong Mile Trial. It was renamed the Champions Mile and given Group 1 status in 2007. The Champions Mile is now one of the key races in the Hong Kong racing calendar.

2023 Winner:

On November 11th, 2023, the six-year-old mare Pride Of Jenni won the $3 million Group 1 Champions Mile at Flemington, her fifth victory in 25 starts. Trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace and ridden by Declan Bates, her total earnings now exceed $2.9 million.


One of the annual horse races with the highest purse is taking place in Sha Tin Racecourse in Hong Kong every year.  The Champions Mile Race, which is part of the Asian Mile Challenge.


The race, which is open to three year-old thoroughbreds and above, is run on a turf track that stretches for 1,600 meters.
