Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort will welcome Luke Rockhold to the UFC this Saturday night in the main event of UFC on FX 8: Rockhold vs Belfort. The fight will be taking place at the Arena Jaragua do Sul in Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Luke Rockhold was the defending Strikeforce Middleweight champion before the promotion was folded into the UFC. Rockhold amassed a perfect record in Strikeforce, beating the likes of Ronaldo Souza, Keith Jardine and Tim Kennedy.

In Vitor Belfort, Rockhold is facing a man who has been inside the Octagon against the likes of Randy Couture, Anderson "The Spider" Silva and Jon "Bones" Jones. In short, Belfort will have a considerable experience advantage when the two lock horns on Saturday night. There is no situation that Belfort has not already been through, while Rockhold will be making his UFC debut and may experience some of the "UFC jitters".

Belfort's most recent fight was an impressive knockout victory over Michael Bisping earlier in the year.

There is no love lost between Belfort and Rockhold, as the two have been verbally sparring over the past couple of months. Rockhold has been especially vocal against Belfort's use of testosterone replacement therapy, while Belfort has questioned Rockhold's manhood.

In short, this should be an interesting fight.

Let's take a look at the current betting odds for this fight:

Vitor Belfort, -105
Luke Rockhold, -125

These odds mean that Rockhold is a very, very slight favorite, but the fight is more or less a coin flip.

A successful $105 wager on Belfort would yield a total profit of $100, while you would have to wager $125 on Rockhold in order to win $100 back.
