Can the New England Patriots Remain Unbeaten at Home?

An intriguing Thursday Night Football game this week will see the New England Patriots play host to the suddenly surging Miami Dolphins.

The New England Patriots are currently in the midst of their "screw the NFL" tour, as they have compiled a record of 6-0-0 while scoring well over 30 points per game. There is some talk of the Patriots seeking to remain undefeated this season in order to embarrass the NFL, which went out of their way to suspend QB Tom Brady for his role in "Deflate-Gate" before the suspension was eventually overturned by a court of law.

The Miami Dolphins, on the other hand, are suddenly looking great following a coaching change. Everything is clicking for the Dolphins all of a sudden - their defense looks great, Ryan Tannehill looks superb and their running game is slicing up opposing defenses. Miami, which currently has a record of 3-3, could do themselves a big favour by pulling off the upset on Thursday night.

New England will be looking to air it out on Thursday night, as their air attack includes the likes of Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and the recently returned Brandon Lafell. Miami, on the other hand, has plenty of weapons as well, including the likes of Rishard Matthews and Jarvis Landry.

Heading into Thursday night's game, the New England Patriots are 7 1/2 point favourites to win - here is the current line:

Miami Dolphins, +7.5, 1.95
New England Patriots, -7.5, 1.87

Here is the money line:

Miami Dolphins, 4.00
New England Patriots, 1.25

Finally, the over/under line, which is currently set at a lofty 50.5 points:

Under 50.5 points, 1.91
Over 50.5 points, 1.91

There are some who think that this game will be much closer than the line currently indicates, while there are others who believe that Tom Brady and company will bludgeon the Miami Dolphins by slicing them up through the air.

What do you think?
