Description: The Minnesota Vikings will travel to New Orleans to do battle with the Saints on September 9th, 2010, in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game.
The Saints managed to narrowly defeat the Vikings last year in overtime, 31-28. The Vikings appeared poised to earn a berth in the Superbowl, but a crucial Brett Favre miscue ended up costing the Vikings the game.
Brett Favre has not yet committed to returning to the Vikings this year, but all indications are that he will end up returning sometime before the start of the season.
This game will be taking place on Thursday Night Football and will be officially kicking off the start of the new season.
