Steelers/Chiefs Game is Likely The Most Intriguing of the Weekend

The game that is the hardest to call going into this weekend of NFL playoff action is likely the clash that is set to take place between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs had a season for the ages as everything seemed to click for the team. Led by the likes of Tyreek Hill and Spencer Ware, the Chiefs managed to finish at the top of the AFC West and earn themselves a first round playoff bye. They don't have the most powerful offence in the world, though Alex Smith did a more than capable job of running the team this year.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, on the other hand, are offence personified. Led by Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers possess an offence that is straight out of a video game, as they can arguably lay claim to having the best wide receiver (Antonio Brown) and running back (Le'Veon Bell) in the league. Throw in other weapons like Ladarius Green and you have an offence that is virtually unstoppable.

Weather will be a big factor in this game, however, as a major storm is expected to hit Kansas City on Sunday. The weather is expected to be so bad, in fact, that the game has been pushed back to prime-time on Sunday night.

You would have to think that the bad weather will benefit the Chiefs more than the Steelers, as it will be harder for Big Ben to get the ball to the likes of Antonio Brown on Sunday evening, provided that the weather continues to be poor.

Roethlisberger is lights out at home but has had a harder time of things on the road.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, will benefit from their home field advantage and the fact that the weather isn't expected to be great on Sunday.
