An improbable semi-final match-up between Portugal and Wales is set to take place on Wednesday, July 6th at the Euro 2016 tournament.

Portugal earned their spot in the semi-finals by defeating a very game Polish team in the quarters, while Wales stormed back from 1-0 down to defeat Belgium 3-1. Belgium was considered one of the stronger teams in the tournament and Wales dispatched of them, which has led some hopeful punters to place money on Wales to win the entire tournament.

Standing in their way will be Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese side, who have had trouble in every single game that they have played so far in the tournament. Portugal, however, is still alive, and you would have to think that Ronaldo is due for a superlative performance.
