Alexandre Lacazette, the lethal Lyon FC forward, pictured smiling in the photo. Wearing the home blue. Lyon will be hoping that their impressive victory over Italian giants Roma in the last round wasn't the pinnacle of their Europa League season.

They face off with Besiktas this Thursday and both sides will fancy their chances at coming away with a positive result.

Not many punters would have chosen the French side prior to their tie against Serie A side, Roma, but they got the job done, winning 5-3 over two legs.

They were massive underdogs in that tie, so they will have to get used to wearing the favorites tag in this game against Besiktas.

They go into the game as 3/5 favorites to win the opening leg.

The Turkish Super Lig team had their own impressive win in the last round. They overcame Greek side Olympiakos, with a 5-2 scoreline.

We actually think that the 4/1 price for Besiktas to win the opening leg is incredibly generous; they currently sit at the top of their domestic league, nine points above Turkish supremos Galatasaray.

They are also unbeaten in their last five games. Although they have drawn two of those games, a result which is priced at around 10/3 for this game.
Lyon's form hasn't been anything near as impressive, winning only one of their last three games.

Both teams have scored in each one of those losses, so the 8/1 price of Besiktas to win and Lyon to win looks like a great bet.

If you fancy Lyon to win and both teams to score, that bet is also available. You can back it at a price of 7/4.

Ahmet Nur Cebi, Besiktas vice-president demonstrated how serious his side are taking this tournament, stating "Getting this far was not easy. It's the result of a five-year strategy." This motivation has pushed us to go all out and back the in-form Turkish side to qualify at 9/4.

If you want to go against our prediction, you can back Lyon to qualify over two legs at a price of 1/3.

Former Liverpool starlet Ryan Babel was in great form in the last round, netting twice against Olympiakos.
He is priced at 9/1 to get the first goal for Besiktas here.

Every team that play Lyon know the dangers of Alexandre Lacazette. He is priced at 5/2 to get the first goal in this tie. Mouctar Diakhaby got Lyon's all-important goal against Roma in the last round and he is priced at 11/1 to get the opening goal here.
