GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
5th in the Pacific Division and 14th in the Western Conference, the Warriors have won 13 and lost 36. Golden State is 9-14 at home, 4-22 away, and 1-9 for the last ten, and at present has an eight-game losing streak. Guard Monta Ellis leads in offense with 26.2 points per game and is also the team’s helping hand with 253 assists, forward Corey Maggette has his eyes glued to the ball with 285 rebounds, and currently injured forward-center Anthony Randolph is a wall in front of the basket with 51 blocked shots.
LOS ANGELES LAKERS
1st in both the Pacific Division and the Western Conference, the Lakers have won 39 and lost 13. LA is 24-4 at home, 15-9 away, and 7-3 for the last ten, and at present has a one-game winning streak. Shooting guard Kobe Bryant leads in offense with 28.0 points per game and is also the team’s helping hand with 237 assists, forward Lamar Odom has his eyes glued to the ball with 513 rebounds, and center Andrew Bynum is a wall in front of the basket with 75 blocked shots.
