Green Bay Packers Favoured To Win at Home on Monday Night

The Green Bay Packers will look to run their record to 3-0 when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football this week. The Chiefs, on the other hand, will be looking to avoid falling under .500 with a loss.

The Packers, led by Aaron Rodgers, have beaten the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks to start their season. The win against the Seahawks provided an emotional lift for the Packers, as Seattle dispatched Green Bay from the NFC Championship last year.

While the Packers seem to be clicking, the Chiefs are still struggling to find their way. Are they a run-first offense, led by Jamaal Charles, or are they more of a passing team? The Chiefs don't really seem to know what they are, and this has definitely hurt them to start the year.

Here are the odds heading into Monday night's game:

Money Line:

Kansas City Chiefs, 3.50
Green Bay Packers, 1.33

Spread:

Kansas City Chiefs, +6.5
Green Bay Packers, -6.5

Over/Under

Over 49 points, 1.91
Under 49 points, 1.91

This game has one of the highest over/under totals of the week, which means that there should be plenty of points scored.

One of the keys to this game should be Randall Cobb, who is seeing his healthy rapidly improve after dealing with a shoulder injury. Randall Cobb was electric against the Seahawks last week, and I expect him to be even better this Monday night.

In addition, Eddie Lacy is looking like he will be able to play, as he has been elevated to "probable" status for the game.

The Chiefs are going to have a hard time containing the Packers offense, while Alex Smith and the Chiefs will have to contend with a hostile crowd.
