Here’s a look at how the Ravens and the Colts did in the 2009 regular season.
BALTIMORE RAVENS
Baltimore finished 2nd in the AFC North with a 9-7 record and secured the #6 seed in its conference. The offense put up 47 touchdowns with an average of 351.2 yards per game, while the defense let in only 27 touchdowns with an average of 300.5 yards per game. Quarterback Joe Flacco was 315-of-499 for a 63.1 percent completion rate, running back Ray Rice led in rushing with 1,339 yards, wide receiver Derrick Mason led in receiving with 1,028 yards, and linebacker Ray Lewis led in defense with 133 tackles.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Indianapolis finished 1st in the AFC South with a 14-2 record and secured the #1 seed in its conference. The offense put up 53 touchdowns with an average of 363.1 yards per game, while the defense let in only 31 touchdowns with an average of 339.2 yards per game. Quarterback Peyton Manning was 393-of-571 for a 68.8 percent completion rate, running back Joseph Addai led in rushing with 828 yards, wide receiver Reggie Wayne led in receiving with 1,264 yards, and linebacker Clint Session led in defense with 102 tackles.
