Our Pick of the Day: Serie A - Novara v. Internazionale

Published on September 20th, 2011
Inter comes to a small Italian town of Novara looking for their first win of the season. Novara's stadium will be filled to capacity of 10,106 spectators.

Yes, You heard it right, 10,106 spectators can fill-up the stadium of the newly promoted Novara side which has drawn one and lost one away to Chievo and Cagliari, respectively. For their home opener they have one of the biggest names of Italian and European football, Internazionale.

Inter is also still winless with one point from two matches and will be going all out tonight to calm the storm around their coach Gasperini who has been at the mercy of Italian media lately. Forlan and Milito are expected to start along with Sneijder who missed a number of good chances against Roma last week in a 0-0 draw.

Novara is led by Uruguayan Granoche who is on loan from Chievo who will be looking to create trouble for the Milanese side. He partners a Japanese striker Morimoto in attack, who spent last five seasons in Catania.

Bookies are rightly favoring Inter in this one, but the odds are still rather nice. 1.73 for Inter to win looks just fine as they truly out match the Novara side, which is expected to fight for its survival in the Serie A.

Sneijder has been really close to scoring in the first two games, tonight could be his night with 2,87 on Sneijder scoring any time. He has been dangerous late in games, and him scoring last goal is set at 7,50, not a bad bet either.

King's pick:

Inter wins – 1,73

Sneijder scores (we pick last goal, but anytime is also good)
