"Notorious" Massive Favourite To Beat Siver on January 18th

On January 18th, Conor "Notorious" McGregor, arguably one of the UFC's biggest stars as of this moment, will be stepping into the Octagon to square off against Dennis Siver.

For many, the McGregor fight against Siver is simply an opportunity for the UFC to showcase McGregor. The plan, according to UFC President Dana White, is to give McGregor a shot at Jose Aldo's Featherweight title should McGregor win on January 18th. The stakes are high, as the UFC is likely to host the fight at a soccer stadium in Ireland in front of tens of thousands of screaming people.

Dennis Siver is obviously looking to stick a fork in the UFC's plans, though the bookmakers don't feel like he has much of a chance of doing so.

Here are the current odds for the Siver/McGregor fight as of this moment:

Dennis Siver, +575
Conor McGregor, -950

According to these odds, McGregor should win this fight 9 out of 10 times.

McGregor, for his part, is equally confident in the outcome, as he has already stated that he will finish Siver within the first two minutes of the fight.

McGregor is looking to move to 5-0 in the UFC with a win over Siver. McGregor has beaten Marcus Brimage, Max Holloway, Dustin Poirier and Diego Brandao during his short time with the promotion.

Dennis Siver, on the other hand, has fought in the UFC for a long time and is currently the #8 ranked fighter in the Featherweight division.
