NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Sitting 1st in the NFC South, New Orleans has a 13-1 record and is this year’s division champion. The offense has brought in 61 touchdowns and is averaging 419.6 yards per game, while the defense has allowed only 33 touchdowns and an average of 354.1 yards per game. Quarterback Drew Brees is 331-of-477 for a 69.4 percent completion rate, running back Pierre Thomas leads in rushing with 733 yards, wide receiver Marques Colston is at the top of receiving with 994 yards, and linebacker Jonathan Vilma is king with 104 tackles in total.
CAROLINA PANTHERS
Sitting 3rd in the NFC South, Carolina has a 6-8 record. The offense has brought in 28 touchdowns and is averaging 325.3 yards per game, while the defense has allowed 34 touchdowns and an average of 323.1 yards per game. Quarterback Jake Delhomme is 178-of-321 for a 55.5 percent completion rate, running back DeAngelo Williams leads in rushing with 1,117 yards, wide receiver Steve Smith is at the top of receiving with 922 yards, and linebacker Jon Beason is king with 121 tackles in total.
